Corporate Accounts—A business account can be established by placing a credit card on file. This can be done in person or over the phone. We do require a credit card to be placed on file for the first order. Payment is expected within 30 days of the invoice date and if not received, it will be put on credit card. Any bills past due date of invoice by 60 days or more will incur a $50 late fee, regardless of invoice total.
Personal Orders—We accept MasterCard, Visa, American Express or Discover and Personal Checks (identification required). We do not accept credit cards for purchases less than $5.00.
UPS Shipping— is not included in our gift prices and will be added to the invoice and shipped by ground unless otherwise indicated. UPS does not ship to P.O. Boxes. Penalty fees will be billed accordingly for incorrect addresses--including incorrect numbers, streets, lack of apt or unit numbers, incorrect city, or zip code, as UPS automatically bills us for these errors. If package is returned to us because of undeliverable address that you provided, you will be billed for reshipment. Please make sure that all information is correct and up to date before placing your order.
***During the holiday season we will ship your gifts to arrive during the week that you request. We are not able to guarantee specific delivery days during the holiday season. Please note that UPS does not deliver on Saturday or Sunday. Gift baskets generally take 3-4 business days to make, box and label for shipping during the holiday season. This is in addition to UPS transport time. If you have questions or are concerned that your basket may not make it to its destination by Christmas, please call 419-861-4438.***
Delivery in the Toledo area--and most suburbs is $8.00-$15.00. Please allow 48 hours processing time. Same day delivery may be available, but please call. Online orders will not be delivered/shipped same day. Areas outside the Toledo area will be shipped UPS. Packages sent in Ohio usually arrive on the next business day, excluding 48 hours processing. We try our best to get deliveries out as requested. It is helpful if you provide us with a phone number for the person to whom the delivery is being made. We generally leave packages at the door or with a neighbor if no one is home. If you prefer to indicate that it be signed for and no one is there to receive it, a re-delivery charge will be incurred. If you have any questions or concerns regarding gift delivery, please discuss it with us when the order is placed.
Boxes for Shipping - At Taste of Toledo, we are trying our best to be green! As part of that effort, we use some recycled boxes for shipping. If that is the case, a stamp that reads 'We Recycle To Help The Environment' will be marked on the box.
Time Requirements/Special Timed Delivery - may incur a same day delivery fee or require upgraded UPS shipping. Orders placed online will be shipped via the UPS classification selected at checkout (UPS Ground, 3 Day Select, 2 Day Air, etc.). Marsha's Buckeyes and gifts may be shipped USPS if time in route is equal to or shorter than UPS. Specific UPS delivery dates are not guaranteed. We will ship your basket to arrive during the same week that you request. General production time for gift baskets is 24 hours. In December production time can take up to 3-4 business days. Shipping of baskets is via UPS Ground (visit www.ups.com to find out how long shipping to your destination state will take).
Returns and Refunds - Returns on nonperishable, non-alcoholic gift items are permitted within 14 days of the purchase date if item is in original condition with original receipt and packaging. Original receipts will result in a refund of the original purchase price in the original payment method (cash/credit). Returns with a gift receipt will result in store credit for the original purchase price.
Holiday/seasonal merchandise may not be returned.
Food items, wine and gift baskets are not returnable.
Shipped/delivered items may not be returned without Taste of Toledo's consent. Taste of Toledo does not pay return shipping.

Q. Why am I having problems ordering online?
If you are sending a gift to anywhere other than your address, please make sure that you have chosen the recipient you want (there is a drop down box at the top). Our system stores names of people you have sent to, which makes it easy to click and send to that person without entering their info again.
Password access is for your convenience–use this if you are going to order again or want to be able to access your orders and contacts.
If delivery is in the Toledo area, be sure to choose “Local Delivery” option on “Delivery Options”. When Zip Code is entered it activates local delivery fee if it is in our delivery area. If sending to a hospital, please let us know how long they will be there or choose to send to their home if hospital stay will be short.
* If you see $0.00 it means that item has options and a price will come up when you make your choice (large, small etc). Please make sure you notice options as many will have choices (color, size, etc.)
Shipments going anywhere in Ohio, most of Michigan and the eastern part of Indiana will arrive the next business day after we send it out. Packages do not go out or move on Sat/Sun. www.ups.com will give you basic info on transit time to a specific zip code.
If you are choosing Next Day, 2nd Day Air, or 3 Day Air, rates are not guaranteed. We will contact you if the actual shipping rate is higher than quoted. UPS prices these classifications differently and are often subject to box size AND weight, whichever is greatest.
We will confirm your online order once it has been processed. Be sure to indicate a range of your date of arrival. E.G.: for Christmas say, for example, the week of Dec 5, week of Dec 12 or week of Dec 19. For a birthday state the date of birthday and we will ship so it arrives on the appropriate date. Packages may not be able to be shipped on the day that the order was received. We do our best to get packages out in a timely fashion. If the time frame is tight and delivery date essential, please contact us by phone to make sure that it is possible.
Once a package leaves our store, delivery responsibility is with UPS. Please make sure that your addresses are up to date and totally correct…don’t forget apartment #, road, drive, correct city and street spelling, and phone number if possible. Having all of these things correct will ensure a timely delivery.
Please do not assume that if you didn’t get a thank you that the package was not sent. We will have or can get you a tracking number if you are unsure as to whether or not your gift was received.
If your company is tax exempt, please indicate that and list your tax # and necessary info in the notes section when placing an order online.
Q. Can I order chocolates in warm weather?
Local delivery and shipping of chocolates is available throughout the year. We do not have the ability to cool-pack chocolates. When ordering chocolates, please take into consideration the seasonal temperature of the origin and destination of the package.
Q. Online ordering is beyond my computer skills. What can I do?
You can email, mail, fax, stop in, or call us with the info. You can call in or fax a credit card number. Email is not a secure method for sending credit card information. Please contact us if you have any questions.
Q. Can I bring in my own items to include in a gift basket?
If you would like to include one unique item in one of our gift baskets we generally do not charge to do so, unless the size of the item requires us to use a larger container. Please do not bring in more than one item and that item must be something that we do not carry in our store. We are not liable for loss or damage of outside items not purchased in our store. All custom orders will be available for pickup after 10am the next day. We do not provide a 'build your own basket' service.
